Social Media is addicting enough, and now casino games are thrown into the mix?
These days it seems like there is an app for anything you could ever desire. There are tons of different casino apps to choose from on Facebook. The question you have to ask yourself is: Are they worth it?
The most popular is Golden Nugget Casino, which has a vast array of slots game, that are quite fun to play. Many of my colleagues have been complaining that the facebook software can't adequately support a lot of these casinos, causing the server to crash. Another thing I don't really understand is you pay to get coins to play these games, but you cannot win anything from the game.
Let me repeat that: You pay for chips to play, but cannot win any real money.
What's the point? That's exactly what I'm thinking. When you could easily go to an online casino, deposit money, and potentially reap the benefits of your strategy.
Some may argue that these apps are strictly for fun, or social purposes. I don't know about anyone else, but my idea of fun is winning some extra cash, especially when effort is put in, shouldn't there always be some positive reinforcement behind a job well done?
Now this does not mean I don't engage in these online games, I am a sucker for anything allowing me to make wagers and develop strategy. I will play these games to a certain extent, meaning until I have to use actual money. The reason for this is because I know I can go to Aladdin's Gold or Bodog and actually earn money for my strategy.
But at the end of the day I thoroughly enjoy the fact that I have so many options to choose from to secure the fact that I will never be under stimulated.
