Dmoz, that almost sounds like a monster right? Well it is actually the exact opposite; it is a vital tool when searching for information on the internet.

Dmoz, which is short for Directory Mozilla is an open directory project run completely by volunteers. It was developed by Netscape as a way of making information easy and accessible to the public by forming lists and categories.
